Business Analyst

Position Description:

We are looking for a Qualified and Experienced Business Analyst to join our business located in Melbourne CBD on full-time basis. We are committed to delivering Improved Quality, Integrated Solutions, and Optimized Efficiencies leading to breakthrough advances in diagnostic confidence and turnaround time.

You will work closely with team members and your contribution will range across gathering and analysing information, developing and documenting improved processes and work instructions and recommending solutions that enable the organisation to achieve the targeted business outcomes.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Five years of relevant industry experience, with a proven track record
  • Excellent understanding of business process
  • Excellent client management skills
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Strong technical background
  • Superior interpersonal and team management skills
  • Establishing good working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Practical knowledge of process analysis tools and techniques

 

In the Role you will be:

  • Working with users to formulate and document the client’s business requirements
  • Identifying, investigating, and analysing business processes, procedures and work practices
  • Identifying and evaluating client’s inefficiencies and providing recommendations regarding optimal business practices, system functionality and behaviours
  • Using various project management methodologies, principles and techniques to develop project plans and to cost, resource and manage projects
  • Taking ownership and responsibility for deploying functional solutions, such as creating, adopting and implementing system test plans, which ensure acceptable quality and integrity of the system
  • Creating detailed and user-friendly user and training documentation, and conducting formal training classes to ensure understanding and upskilling
  • Developing functional specifications for use by system developers
  • Using varied data and process modelling techniques to create clear system specifications for the design and development of system software
  • Acting as a central reference and information source, providing guidance and assistance in the system project decision making process
