Looking for a “Defect Manager” to monitor, coordinate and report on software
and hardware defects detected as part of Testing and Quality Assurance

Responsibilities

• Overall 10+ years’ of Testing experience and minimum 5 years’ experience as a Defect Manager working in complex organisations with multiple systems and projects
• Demonstrated experience working with defect management tools such as JIRA, ALM.
• Thorough knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle, Testing and QA
• Managing QA defects across multiple streams and concurrent projects including status, ownership, timeline and regular updates
• Reviewing test evidence and results to verify defect resolution & re-test activities
• Implementing and improving defect management process
• Tracking and verifying defects logged to ensure information quality and completeness.
• Ensuring compliance to the standard defect management process across all projects
• Suggesting continuous improvements to the process and QA practice

• API Automation mandatory skill**
• High level of QA Test Analyst experience demonstrating the following
• At least 6+ years testing experience
• API automation experience using Javascript
• Web automation experience using Javascript
• Exposure to CI/CD tooling
• Experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira + Confluence)
• Experience manually testing websites Nice to have
• Experience with Cypress.io
• Experience with performance testing and K6
• Experience using mountebank for API mocking
• Experience with accessibility testing
• Exposure to docker and cloud platforms

• High level of QA Test Lead experience demonstrating the following 6+ years’ commercial experience in mobile test engineering (simulator and emulator)
• Strong test lead (minimum 6 years exp) to help lead and execute testing of changes of greenfield iOS and Android mobile apps
• Responsible for leading and executing engagements requiring testing experience
• An engagement can vary in size and complexity, ranging from a single mobile application, to a portfolio of applications, to a full program
• Develop and execute functional tests using the Enterprise Framework and a range of technologies.

Must Have

• Experience working with greenfield iOS and Android mobile apps
• UI test automation with XCUI Test and Espresso
• Hands on with swift Xcode, Kotlin
• Experience in Agile and understand the principles of Test-Driven Development,
• Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, GUI and API test automation.

• Transaction Lifecycle Management is mandatory**
• 10+ Years of experience in IT QA
• Transaction Lifecycle Management (TLM®) Platform
• Lead and execute testing strategies, process improvements and standards for your deliverables
• Ensure that the relevant levels and types of testing needed to produce quality software (e.g., functional, system, integration, regression, performance, security, accessibility, compatibility, maintainability, etc.) are executed and planned into the delivery lifecycle
• Challenge the development team to ensure a high level of quality and test coverage at the appropriate levels
• Support the creation, maintenance, and reuse of test artefacts (e.g., test cases, plans, scripts, documentation, etc.)

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a tester with exceptional skills and
• knowledge of the testing discipline including
• Experience in testing in an environment covered by formal quality accreditations
• Experience in testing in a medical, legal, forensic industry would be highly regarded but not a must
• Demonstrated experience in testing small to large system changes including changes for major software developments and other changes e.g. Windows upgrade projects, infrastructure upgrades
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to prepare clear, concise and accurate test documentation and reports
• Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team while maintaining professional standards
• Experience in testing across varied environments at all stages of the SDLC
• Have an in-depth understanding of formalised testing processes and techniques, including various tools used throughout

• Document test scenarios and cases against agile sprint items
• Facilitate test workshops across multiple teams to ensure accurate test coverage is identified
• Review test environments to ensure they accurately mirror production
• Effectively demonstrate expertise in management and triaging of defects
• Produce Test Summary Reports (TSR) and sprint test status updates
• Identify and gather test data requirements
• 8+ Years of experience in IT QA
• Strong background working as a Test Analyst on projects involving O365 “MANDATORY”
• Expert knowledge of O365 hybrid model and product suites
• Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills
• Prior exposure to digital transformation programs ideal but not essential
• Experience working within an Agile or ISTQB methodology ideal

• At least 5-6 years demonstrated experience as a Test Analyst with Strong automation experience
• (Selenium, API Testing- REST Assured, Appium)
• Experience in writing Automation testing scripts using Java
• Key tech stack- Java, Appium, Selenium Webdriver
• API Testing Frameworks: REST Assured
• Experience in agile working methodologies
• Experience working with front-end and back-end development tools.
• Must possess an understanding and experience of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and BDD.
• Hands on experience on assisting with the creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
• Strong Agile experience

• 12+ Years of experience in IT/QA & at least 3+ Years of proven test manager experience
• Strong knowledge on Software Testing Concepts, Testing Process and Testing Methodologies.
• Strong knowledge in preparing Test Scenarios, Test Conditions, Test Cases,
• Defect Reporting, Test Execution Report and Test Completion/Recommendation Report
• Strong knowledge in developing SQL scripts/queries to perform test execution in
• data processing layers and track issues to meet business requirement.
• Should have strong experience in ETL/CI/CD automation, Ruby/Python/Java
• Hands on experience in developing & executing jobs via CI/CD [Continuous
• Integration Continuous Deployment] Tools Jenkins/Bamboo and Code repository location GITLAB/BitBucket.
• Strong hands on knowledge & experience on Test Automation tool Cucumber and Ruby Scripting.
• Experience in various facets of Software Design, Development, and Testing & Project Cost estimations

• 5+ years’ experience in all aspects of technology testing, including test planning, documentation, execution, defect management and reporting.
• Automation and Testing automation

• MVC, delegation and common data structures
• Knowledge of defect management processes
• Experience in test management tools such as JIRA
